Welcome!

I’m Deb - a multiply neurodivergent, bright pink wearing, cat lover - who is extremely prone to overusing the exclamation mark. I’m also probably the most enthusiastic HR nerd you’ll ever meet!
With over 20 years experience in People & Culture, a Masters in Employment & Labour Relations Law, and an undergrad degree in HR, I know the policies, the legislation and the workplace systems inside and out. But, even more importantly, I know what it feels like to live inside a brain that doesn't always fit in with this neurotypical world.
For so much of my life, I knew I was different - I just didn’t have the words for it. When hormones started to shift, the energy drain associated with holding the mask up while working, parenting and general life-ing became too much, which led to me realising my own neurodivergence…and finally having the acronyms which made it all make sense. Along with the label, I gained a passion for helping the neurodivergent community navigate workplaces, since they often are not set up for our way of working.
I bring the knowledge of someone who’s spent 20+ years inside HR, combined with being someone who actually gets the experience of living life as an AuDHD’er.
